And who better to break the news than the legendary TC Carson, the voice behind Kratos in the Greek saga? This project is in its early stages, so we ask for your patience as we work our magic. God of War: Sons of Sparta - A New Adventure
Now, for the grand reveal! Our partners at Mega Cat Studios have been hard at work, and we're thrilled to present God of War: Sons of Sparta! This 2D action platformer takes us back to Kratos' youth, showcasing his harsh training at the Agoge alongside his brother Deimos. The writing team from Santa Monica Studio, known for their work on God of War (2018) and Ragnarök, brings us a tale of duty, honor, and brotherhood. And in a special treat, TC Carson returns as the adult Kratos, narrating our story for the first time in over a decade!
Kratos' kinetic combat style finds a new home in this unique genre. He'll learn deadly spear and shield techniques and harness the power of divine artifacts known as the Gifts of Olympus. Sons of Sparta features a blend of iconic creatures from the franchise, recreated in stunning 2D pixel art, alongside new mythical creatures inspired by the untapped depths of Greek mythology, brought to life by the retro masters at Mega Cat Studios.
